What's included?

Well, obviously you get space to safely store your files. We’ll let you know when your Skydock is almost full, so you can have a think about whether you want to upgrade or delete some files.

Your files will be safe. They’re stored right here in Australia, and security encrypted when you upload and download them. So your personal files are just that - personal.

Here’s an important bit. If you’re uploading, downloading or backing up files, you may incur data charges, depending on your plan.

Flexible payment options

If you’re a World Wide Technologies internet* or mobile customer, you can choose to have the Skydock monthly charge added to your bill. You can also pay using Visa, Mastercard .

How does billing work?

When you select a plan that incurs a charge, you’ll be billed on that date every month. So if you selected your plan for Skydock on March 10, you’ll be billed in advance on the 10th of every month.

 

Am I charged for accessing Skydock over a phone network?

If you’re uploading, downloading or backing up files, you may incur data charges, depending on your plan.

 

What happens when I upgrade or downgrade my account?

If you choose to upgrade your account, your additional storage will be available immediately. We’ll begin charging you on the new rate and your billing date will be changed to the day of the month you upgraded. You’ll be credited a pro-rata amount for any time remaining on your old monthly rate.

If you downgrade your account, your storage capacity will be reduced immediately, and the amount you’ve paid that’s remaining for your current billing month will be credited to your account for the next bill. For example, if you’ve paid $10 and it’s halfway through the month, and you downgrade to a $5 Skydock, you’ll be credited $2.50 on your next bill.

It’s important to note that you won’t be able to downgrade if your existing files take up more space than the account you’re moving to. So if you have 5GB of files, you won’t be able to downgrade to a 3GB account until you delete some.

 

What happens if I get a World Wide Technologies internet / Support account?

You’ll be eligible for discounts and more storage.

  • If you get a World Wide Technologies internet / Support account, you’ll automatically receive the World Wide Technologies internet / Support discount rates.
 

What if I don’t pay my bill?

We’ll send you a message to let you know your account is outstanding. If your bill is 30 days overdue, your account will be suspended and you won’t be able to use your Skydock. After 60 days, your files will be permanently deleted. We’ll let you know before that happens so you’ll have a chance to pay your bill and save your data.
